Stef Edwards is the CEO of Learn Academies Trust, a mixed community and Church of England group of primary schools in south Leicestershire, with about 2500 pupils. Stef is a former primary English specialist and headteacher. She studied for a Masters in Education Research Inquiry at the University of Leicester and is currently undertaking a doctoral study about the leadership of teachers’ professional learning in Lesson Study at the University of Brighton. She is interested in the role of research engagement in professional learning and in developing evidence-informed learning organisations that make a difference to the quality of children’s learning.
