Ruth Lowe, LLB MBA, is the External Affairs Manager for Parentkind where she leads on policy, campaigns and research. Ruth has over 15 years’ experience working in the voluntary sector, including senior roles within YWCA, Platform 51 and WAGGGS, with a focus on disadvantaged groups and communities, parents, young women and young offenders. During her time with local authority, Ruth was responsible for managing an Ofsted-registered programme within the Early Years Framework. Ruth is experienced in the development of participatory governance and stakeholder accountability. She leads on the Parentkind Annual Parent Survey and developing policy that allows for greater access and opportunity for parental participation in education.
