Maria brings many years' experience in governance
in local government, NHS and Education. Maria joined the David Ross
Education Trust in August 2018 as Head of Governance and Company Secretary and
oversees the Trust level and local governance for the Trust and advising on
governance, policy and compliance matters. Maria was formerly Deputy Director
of Corporate Affairs for both Warwickshire North Clinical Commissioning Group
and Coventry and Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group accountable for a range of
corporate functions for two organisations and delivering the full range of
corporate governance activity across board and committee secretariat,
information governance, risk, audit, policy, compliance, complaints, and HR.
Maria has experience of working in the private
sector, local government and the NHS in both senior project management and
corporate governance roles.
