Kate Dethridge
Dame Kate is Deputy Director in the NWLSC Regional School Commissioner’s Office. Prior to this, she was a Headteacher for 18 years, running an outstanding school in Reading. She was a National Leader of Education for 8 years and ran a Teaching School. Kate served on a number of DfE panels over this time. She was an OfSTEd inspector, an associate director of the National Education Trust and a board member of FASNA, with a particular interest in school finance. She was also a member of the NWLSC RSC Headteacher Board and a founding trustee of the College of Teaching.
