Seeking to increase the level of support, guidance and understanding of governance in the academy sector, Emma was inspired to set up The Constant Group in 2017, informed by her experience as Head of Governance for leading multi-academy trust, Ark. Emma has worked with a diverse range of clients through The Constant Group including academy trusts, local authorities and the UK’s largest federation of maintained schools. She is a trainer in academy governance for ICSA: The Governance Institute and mentor for the Governance Leadership Programme run by Ambition Institute and the Confederation of School Trusts (CST). Emma is Chair of a primary school governing body in South London.
