Dai supports trusts with a
range of safeguarding issues, such as safer recruitment, DBS disclosures,
self-harm, mental health, child deaths, allegations against staff, handing
disclosures of abuse, child sexual exploitation, and supporting and
representing them during safeguarding investigations. He also carries out
safeguarding practice and governance audits to support trusts with improving
practice and driving safeguarding consistency across trusts.
Dai leads the safeguarding
session of our Essential Trustee Programme and hosts our Strategic Safeguarding
for School Trusts Masterclass course.
