Amelia is the National Director for Strategy and Quality Improvement and is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT’s) strategy to 2023. She heads up a team of professionals managing curriculum design, enrichment, communications, fundraising and data. The team also oversees funded projects to develop innovation for OAT schools, including OAT’s £2 million #iwill project funded by Ormiston Trust and the National Lottery Community Fund. Before joining OAT, Amelia worked in strategy and policy for over 15 years, most recently at Ofsted as the Deputy Director of Research and Evaluation which included leading the inspectorate’s curriculum research programme.
